American Legion Post 238

American Legion Post 238 is a Veterans organization located at 555 Buel Ave, Rockaway Beach. This is also the site of the Pacifica Veterans Memorial Monument, which commemorates Pacificans who have died in combat zones while serving their country. The monument is located at 555 Buel Ave, Rockaway Beach, Pacifica, California. Their stories are remembered and honored here. 

Pacifica Historical Society

The society preserves, enjoys and spreads the word about Pacifica's past. Members clip and file old newspaper articles, organize interviews with longtime residents, do research to locate and assist in protecting local historical buildings and sites, answer requests for historical information and expand the collective knowledge of all that has made Pacifica what it is today.
