The City of Pacifica maintains over 1,770 street lights. It is the goal of the public works department to keep all street lighting in good working order for the convenience and safety of the public. However, public works relies on notification from citizens as to which lights are not working correctly. Repairs are generally scheduled for Thursday of each week.

Contact the City of Pacifica Public Works Department to report a malfunctioning street light. Please provide the following information:

  • Street name and address where the light pole is located or the pole number
  • The specific problem associated with the light (light does not turn on/stays on all the time/flickers on/off)
  • Name, address and phone number where you can be reached for additional information

Do not go near any downed electrical wires or a damaged electrical pole. Call 911 or contact the Pacific Gas & Electric Company emergency line directly at 888-743-4911.
