When will the Civic Center open for business?

While the construction fencing is coming down and a Ribbon Cutting Event will be held for a public preview of the renovated Civic Center Campus facilities at 170 Santa Maria Avenue and 1800 - 1810 Francisco Boulevard, the facility is not yet open for business at the renovated location. 

City of Pacifica staff from the City Manager's Office, Finance Department, Human Resources Department, Planning Department / Community Development Department, Information Technology (IT) as well as the Parks, Beaches and Recreation Department (including the Child Care Division) continue to work at the Pacifica Community Center located at 540 Crespi Drive until further notice.

A Press Release with transition details will be posted with further details on relocation dates and service impacts once the relocation details are confirmed.

Please be patient as we make every effort to address your needs during the relocation period.

The City of Pacifica is excited to invite the community to the Pacifica Civic Center Ribbon Cutting event on Thursday, June 27, 2024 from 3:00pm - 5:00pm.  

The new Civic Center will serve the Pacifica community for decades to come and will help the City fulfill its Mission “to provide exceptional services, maintain the small-town feel and safety of our unique community, and steward the environment, coastal beauty, and recreational opportunities.”  It will be a facility in which the community can take pride and will serve all of us collectively to benefit the Pacifica community.
